Just came back from eating across from Carowinds. 2 Large 18 wheelers were pulling in the "main" entrance. I decided to follow them. At that point Carowinds security "whipped" across the parking lot (2 cars to be exact) and led the large trucks behind the Season Pass lot in an hurriede fashion. That is where I lost them. These trucks were definately large enough to contain track pieces. BTW.....did notice that the fenced in area has been redone near the entrance where the "dirt" trucks have been entering and exiting. Looks tyo be larger.

Could be wrong, but those pieces that Wormy posted look similar to what is at Diamondback around the splash down......http://www.rcdb.com/ig4253.htm?picture=33
Sorry, can't post the pic here at work. I haven't really noticed where they have starting molding the splash area on the site though. I still think they will put one in though.
And yes, I know it could be for drainage in general.

Once again Wormy, nice job.

Just circled the park and those trucks are nowhere to be seen. This wi-fi sucks.

Did they have flatbed or shipping containers attached on back? If not, then it wouldn't be track pieces or supports.

They were large blue trucks that had large covered containers large enough for track. I wanted to get a picture from the blackberry, however, CW security moved me away. Could be something or even nothing. Did you look over by the campground?

Wormy! You are gonna steal my thunder. lol I'm gonna try and do an update from old bessie (My old computer) and see what happens.

Here's my update:

Image
What are those boxes? Are those footer pieces or something?

Image
Up, up, and away!

Image
Maybe they are just boxes for Christmas. You know, Bart probably shops early. Speaking of which, I saw him and the other suits in the park today. When was the last time I saw our GM 3 times just walking around inspecting the park? Um, never.

Image
The outhouse (which is what I'm calling it) seems like it is staying because there is that orange temp fence around it. Not sure.

Image
Um, ok guys I know I'm an ACEr, but you really didn't need to get a forklift for me.

Image
SUPER EXCLUSIVE! This is the BACKSIDE of the construction gate! I didn't do anything illegal, you can get to it if you just keep walking to the back of the picnic shelters.

Image
B is for B&M.

Image
Location of the concrete boxes.

Image
Maybe someone leaked info on the "attraction" and Bart is sending them down the river.

Image
I spot something new that is red. Not sure what is the mysterious red box.

Image
Can't have too much red.

Image
And for all you architects: Is this Dorian, Corinthian, or Ionic? I think I spelled those correctly.

Image
Beetle Cam brings us our final shot at... IKEA!

And as the Swedish would say: Hej då. Or, goodbye.

Ya'll come back now, ya hear?

Sigh. Wes, didn't I try to tell you we should coordinate this better? Now we're posting in stereo and have no updates to get us through the rest of the week. Somebody? Anybody?

I would have totally beaten you to it if I wasn't on some wild goose chase. Thanks for the tip goldsteh, but you owe me $3.42 in gas money. And yeah, I looked everywhere.

How deceptive this sign is...
Image

When we all know the final contestants are gonna look like this...
LOL LOL LOL LOL

EDIT by J: C'mon I usually like your posts but this one may have gone too far...

sooo...would it be different if she was 300 lbs lighter???

We can say "porn" but cant post pictures of bikini's to get ready for the event??? Is this TPR with the post nazi's??? Lighten up guys I would rather look at those pictures than read "is the track there" or "whats taking so long" or "I have a insider who said this and that and this and that...". Just a little humor...

Jarvis "highly dissapointed" Morant...

To me saying the word 'porn' is a lot different than actually showing borderline pornographic pictures. The images didn't really bother me at all but Jon, Max and myself have to look out for everyone on the boards, especially as their are many people who are underage that browse the forums. You have been here long enough to know that we all like to have a good time and mess around, but some things I just can't allow.

You would have been better off posting your picture from Boomerang Bay media day 3 years ago.
I just deleted your post.

I sort of see Jarvis's point. What is the difference between the pics he posted and this?

Image

Besides 300 lbs, of course.

What he posted was something you might see walking around Boomerang Bay. Let us hope not, but you might.
