Peeking through the fence... there is another type of marker like: TZA or maybe it's T2A (Oh! The Terminators are coming!) But I'm guessing this means Transfer Track or Terminal (station). Not sure.

Staring back from South Gate, you get a sense of just how long this thing is going to be.
It took seven minutes to walk from one end of the fence to the other, including the extended area out front.

Remember First in Flight fans, Carowinds is in South Carolina as well, which historically has been a lot more friendly and has given more development funds to the park than our beloved North Carolina. So if I were going to give an attraction a state specific name, it would be something related to South Carolina. Let the South Carolina coaster naming ideas begin...........

yeah, I thought of that later and it's a good point....I don't know SC very well (except for Edisto, which I worship)--so what would relate to SC?

Now, to get back to fantasy land....since North Carolina is "First in Flight" (it's on every license plate, right?) could some sort of Wright Brothers-Kitty Hawk-flying theme work for this thing? It could be kind of a companion to the Top Gun/Afterburn concept, since that is supposed to be based on fighter pilot maneuvers. The name could have 'Flyer' in it...or maybe just "The Flyer". Not a wildly original name perhaps, but I don't think there are any coasters called 'Flyer' around these parts are there? And I understand the objections to another Carowinds "carolina" coaster...but "Carolina Flyer" has kind of a nice ring to it....

This kind of made me chuckle, as nearly the exact same idea was talked about during the Borg/Nighthawk construction for a little while. I'm sure the threads are still on here.

Someone here... or me.... needs to take the satellite image and mark where all the flags are to come up with a "connect the dots" series where we can track what path the ride will actually take.
