I did go today so I have plenty of pics. Dora is looking GREAT and is nearly finished, I bet it opens soon. I just got home so pics won't be up for a few hours. I also have some pics that will prove some things that have been said and disprove some others...

Also on the entire B&M vs Intamin thing ... my top 6 steel are all hyper coasters. One and two are Intamin, 3,4,5,6 are B&M. Either way you are getting a fantastic ride.

Yeah, that's it. Cedar Fair made them take it off the website.

1. Superman: Ride of Steel at SFNE.. in 2 short weeks I will experience 'Bizzaro,' I hope it doesn't ruin the ride for me. :?
2. Expedition GeForce at Holiday Park.. While the first drop and first hill are probably the greatest elements in coaster history, there was a terrible trim in the middle of the ride that pretty much killed all chances of it being #1.

While I'm at it...
3. Apollo's Chariot at BGE
4. Nitro at SFGAd
5. Behemoth at Canada's Wonderland
6. Goliath at SFoG

I'm tentatively planned to ride Diamondback at Kings Island for the first time July 3rd, and based on reviews from people I trust (Wes, Dave and others), I fully expect it to be in the mix come July.

(I also have Raging Bull, but that one is way far back in the pack compared to the other B&M's mentioned.. I really *want* to like it, but it just can't compare with its out and back counterparts)

As far as the Kings Dominion 'coaster' I don't see it happening for 2010. 2011 would make more sense, its just too soon with Dominator there, I was there earlier in the month and there wasn't much of anything to look at. There are going to be a bunch of sad fanboys in Richmond in a few months. How come pictures of this 'construction' are so secretive, do they not have people that go every week and take pictures like us?

'Construction' pic from May 2nd:

..enough rambling from me

i heard the Bizarro theming completely killed the ride and i had no idea the ExGForce drop was so intense ... it doesnt look that way from the pictures. but i guess you should never judge a coaster by its picture on the internet. :)

Those containers have been there for a good while after going back and looking at some pics. They where there when I was there early in May. But looking at a pic from April 4th it shows that they where not there. So I guess the plot thickings but If my memory serves me correct those in Ohio are a shade of red from all the pics that I have saw?

Actually the KD documents are now back online so it may be just a server problem.Other sites like cwmania are saying that CF will announce their projects for the former paramount parks early to mid season so we should soon know what type of coasters both parks are getting.

KD doesn't typically start ground work on cap ex projects this early in the season so something big is coming to the park next season,as for carowinds a floorless would also be nice....especially for those who havn't had the opportunity to ride one yet.
