Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but Dora looks like its all back together, but a shorter loop for sure.

They've kept those trees that Dora used to go through, so we'll see what they are doing with those. Maybe once (whatever we are getting) is built, they will put Dora back like she was.

I wonder if she and boots will be intimidated by the new ride?

Just a random thought. Would you guys be happy if we found out the new coaster was wooden? Like a major tall/fast woodie? The Terminator Salvation wooden coaster that SFMM just got looks amazing. I'd be so content with that.

I think every person on this board would be more than happy with a nice new woodie, but with Cedar Fair's recent affinity for GCI I would not be surprised to see one coming a little further down the road. I am just guessing whatever is coming next year is probably a more pressing need in the eyes of Cedar Fair.

Just speculating of course.

I would be ecstatic lol. Hurler is fun and fast but nowhere close to being on par with many woodies out there. Thunder Road was better backwards and as I've said before its pretty much over for me at the turnaround point. A HUGE woodie would be right up my alley. I wouldn't be surprised at all if CF removed the lackluster waterpark down the road to open a new area of rides there.

The station fly-thru is awesome.

I'd rather have a B&M hyper, but if it came to nothing or a GCI woodie, then I'd love to take the GCI. I'm a big fan of Thunderhead and Kentucky Rumbler.

I just can't see any park operator except Holiday World wanting to operate 4 wooden coasters.

Held on to these for a couple of days. They're getting stale and it's a shame to let them go to waste:

Really starting to level out:

Dora's train was getting some hand painted attention.

A general mess. So far going out of their way not to fill this in:

Not much is ending up here:

was there over the holiday weekend and noticed the parking lot has a bit of torn up asphalt at the very end of the fenced off part. Is it possible they fenced off that whole area simply to give the trucks going in and out of there a clear path and avoid the parked cars? That maybe nothing is being built in the parking lot and just going where the dirt is?

^ Anything is possible. There is a minor dent in the asphalt over by South Gate, not sure what that's about. But it's doubtful the dirt-mobiles would need this much room to get in and out.

Wormy, it is not your pictures that are getting stale, it's the construction site. They need to stop playin and get on with some serious work so we'll have something to gawk at. I need a dang gone footer in my life and not a SFOG lamp post base either.

Could it possibly be that the coaster will be a parking lot coaster?

I'm just saying. Look at the layout of the fence and the fact that it doesn't look like they are clearing anywhere else.
