Well I figured this would be a good common ground to discuss the ex paramount parks and what transformations have been going on with them so far and in the years to come! So far This year brought PKI Firehawk. It was a good move being that a sorta thrilling coaster joined the lines of other sorta thrilling coasters. Bottom line it was a good fit for the park! PC got a case of deja'vu with the return of fren-star but in a more "look at me i'm here" location, again good for the park. PKD got the coolest update this year with the tornado slide and some additions to the water park! PGA got a wave pool to make their waterpark even more complete. And PCW got a big ole NOTHING but hey, had to get the cash for that huge coaster coming in a few months!

Now that 2008 is upon us it is time for the parks to start announcing!

Nothing has been announced as of yet and I kinda dont follow rumors so right now as it stands the park is getting nothing.

Well...they are getting a big *** coaster that is gonna leave a mark on the park for a long time to come. BEHEMOTH seems to be something i'm interested in checking out.

The topspin sounds like a great place holder until they new GCII sprouts. No park can go wrong with flat rides and i'm excited about the park and if this is an indication of how cedar fair will run the parks then im starting to get off the fence.

Following up a great waterpark expansion they are getting an awesome used coaster. I am really excited about this because I personally have been interested in that coaster and since it is coming closer I think I may have to go ahead and renew my pass for para-fair.

Time will tell...(but it probably wont tell much )

I have heard from a semi-reliable source that KI is getting the Yo-Yo from GL and a Proslide Behemoth Bowl (kind of like what Holiday World got this year).

I also heard that the new Top Spin for Great America ISN'T going to be the used Texas Tornado from GL(instead they will get a floorless one like Firefall at KD).. not sure about that one though.

GL's is already on site, so it will be GL's. That so should have went to Carowinds, a park without any major new flats.

Seeing as how they're in the business to make money, I'm sure the wave pool will pay off in spades. Cheap to install, brings in the people. You know, so they can have cash to build a coaster later...

Where are they going to put the new wavepool? I wouldn't dare to say that the wavepool will have an affect on cash flow or attendance. I would say that it will have an effect on the water bill in May. I would hate to that bill. Anyways, I bet something better is coming soon.
